SPECIALTIES:
I bounce between training for 5ks and Marathons, always staying in half marathon shape. Marathons leave me with the bigger feeling of accomplishment but racing a 5k is very fun.
STORY:
I've been running since I completed my first 5K at just 8 years old. Since then, I've raced across the U.S., both competitively and for funâfirst as a youth, then in high school, and later in college. After running at BYU, I took some time away from the sport but was eventually drawn back in by the marathon.
So far, I've completed six marathons, including Boston and Chicago. Running continues to inspire me, not only for the mental and physical benefits it provides but also because of my deep love for the sport as a fan. I know I'll always be involved in running, and I hope to help grow the sport and encourage others to be a part of it.
